Port Blair, April 19: Continuing with its crackdown on illegal sale of IMFL, intelligence was developed and one person was arrested after recovery of huge quantity of IMFL.
On 15/04/2018, based on a secret information from reliable source SHO Humfrygunj alongwith ASI R.B.S. Durai, PC Gaurango Pandey, PC Hari Prasad and PC Mohd. Shafique reached near Sub-centre, Nayasahar and intercepted the suspicious Car bearing Reg. No. AN01 F 1916 and on checking 100 Nos. 750 ml bottle Aristocrat Premium whisky co- sealed were recovered inside the Car. On enquiring, the driver of the Car failed to produce any valid documents/license for carrying huge quantity of IMFL. On this, a case in relevant section of law has been registered at PS Humfrigunj against the driver namely Selvendran (21) yrs R/o Nayasahar for carrying huge quantity of IMFL.
