Port Blair, April 19: PS Pahargaon police has solved clueless theft and burglary cases in shortest possible time, again proving their skills and determination in dealing with such crimes.
On 15/04/18 a complaint was received from Mr. Jishu Baidya R/o Prothrapur stating that his articles were stolen from his car while he parked the same at New Bimbliton and left to nearby area to visit his land. The car’s window was found broken and several articles including money purse with cash, music system, speakers, vacuum cleaner and pen drives were stolen. On the same day another two cases of theft of bike were reported from New Pahargaon area.
On this two teams were formed consisting of SI P. Jeevan, HC Babu Rao, PC S N Pathak and ASI Tamil Selvam, HC Chandra Babu, PC E Khan, PC Sushil Sarkar under the supervision of Insp. Sahil Shamsuddin, SHO PS Pahargaon.
The teams worked tirelessly and examined several witnesses and road side hawkers to trace the culprits. In a very short time, the accused Muruganandham R/o New Bimbliton was arrested and entire articles stolen from car were recovered from his possession.
Later the second investigating team arrested accused Sanjay Singh R/o New Pahargaon and Deepak Sarkar R/o Garacharma for bike thefts and the stolen bikes were recovered on their instance.
With the arrest of three culprits 100% recovery of stolen articles were made. The entire investigation was supervised by Mr. Nishant Gupta, Dy. SP (SA).
