Diglipur, Apr 15: To mark the start of the Bengali New Year Rabi Tirtha Club (Youth group) organized a cultural programe at Panchayat hall of Gram Panchatyat Subhasgram yesterday.
Rabi Tirtha Club president Mr. Naresh Haldar welcomed the guests and lightening of lamp done by Mr. P C Tikait, Ex DEO Diglipur, Mr. Madhab Narayan Saha, Asst Acct Officer, APWD, President Naresh Haldar and other distinguished guests.
The event will be celebrated with full gusto, featuring folk music such as Sohag Chand, Hrid Majhare, Sundori Komola, Rabindra sangeet, poetry recitals, cultural dance performances, and traditional sweets. The children overwhelmingly participated and enthralled the audience and they were widely appreciated by one and all. Vote of thanks proposed by Patwari Mr. Parimal Haldar.
