Port Blair, Mar 15: Application is invited from the eligible and suitable person for selection of one Khadim-ul-Hujjaj (KuH) for Haj-2018 from Andaman & Nicobar Islands. It is compulsory for the selected KuH to attend the Training Programme organized by Haj Committee of India (HCoI) at Haj House, Mumbai. Applicant must be employees of Government / Public Sector Units / Statutory Bodies and within the age of 25-58 years as on 1.07.2018.
The HCoI will bear the total amount of expenditure incurred on the KuH for A&N Islands. However expenditure for attending the Training Programme at Mumbai and to & fro journey from Port Blair to Chennai (Embarkation point) and back has to be bear by the selected candidate.
The A&N Islands State Haj Committee will select a suitable candidate in case more than one application are received by due date. Norms for selection, role, duties and responsibilities of KuH etc. can be obtained from the office of the Chairman, A&N Islands State Haj Committee, Directorate of Social Welfare Building, Goalghar, Port Blair (Office No. 03192-230781) on any working days from 9.00 AM to 5.00 PM (lunch break from 1.00 PM to 2.00 PM).
The candidate desirous to be selected as KuH have to fill-up the application Online which is available on website www.hajcommitte.gov.in. A hard copy of the online filled in application form, in original alongwith requisite documents has to reach the office of the A&N Islands State Haj Committee, Port Blair by 24th March, 2018 positively.
