Port Blair, Feb 23: TGCE, Port Blair celebrated Mathribhasha Diwas on the occasion of 21st Feb, 2018 to promote various Mother Tongue and Culture of the Nation. On this regard Elocution, Debate, Essay Writing, Singing and Painting competitions were organized based on the theme “Importance of Mother Tongue” under the supervision of Dr. R.K.Tiwari, Associate Professor.
Various groups of teacher trainees participated in these competitions. In the Elocution Competition, Mamta (U.G.Ed. 4th year), secured the first position, Alka (U.G.Ed. 2nd year) secured the second position and the third position was secured by Soniya (U.G.Ed, 1st Year).
In the Debate Competition S.K. Salman (B.Ed. 1st year) and A. Abhishaik, (U.G.Ed. 3rd year) secured the first position,G. Kavita and Aysha Khatun (U.G.Ed. 4th year) secured the second position respectively
In the Essay Writing Competition Alka (U.G.Ed. 2nd year) secured the first position, T. Tarkeshwar Rao (U.G.Ed. 3rd year) and Pallabi Saha (U.G.Ed. 1st year) secured the second position and the third position was secured by Nikita Kesh(B.Ed. 1st year) & Pooja Halder(U.G.Ed. 4th year) .
In the Singing Competition Sumita & Group (U.G.Ed. ) secured the first position, Bashad Taweer & Vivek (U.G.Ed.) secured the second position and the third position was secured by Saw Soluh (B.Ed. 1st year).
In the Painting Competition Bashad Taweer (U.G.Ed. 4th year) secured the first position, T. Tarkeshwar Rao (U.G.Ed. 3rd year) and secured the second position and the third position was secured by Jay Prakash Vijay Kav (U.G.Ed. 3rd year)
