Port Blair, Jan 29: To mark the 121th Birth Anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose on 23rd January 2018, Netaji Club, Uttara & Shantanu in association with Gram Panchayat Uttara had organized a 06 days “Netaji Mela-2018” at Uttara Ground. The Mela will be inaugurated by Mr. Anjan Kumar Das, Director of Agriculture, A & N Administration on 23rd January at 06.00 P.M. Department of fisheries, Agriculture, Forest, Indian Post, Veterinary Services had displayed their stalls for the general public along with other private stalls. Various stage functions will be organized during these o6 days by the students of Vivekananda Kendra Zilla Parishad Vidyalaya, Kadamtala, Navodaya Vidyalaya, Panchawati, Puppet show, event by A & N Police entertainment team and by local artist. The Agriculture Departments will be also organizing various event during the mela like Fresh flower arrangements and flower Rangoli competition. The Netaji Club cordially invites all the islanders to this Mela at Uttara ground from 23rd to 28th December 2018.
