Port Blair, Dec 31: Andaman and Nicobar Police have recovered seven Bamboo rafts and eight Myanmarese fishermen from North and Middle Andaman region since last three days.
Police believe that all these rafts have reached inside Indian waters because of recent cyclone weather conditions in Myanmar region but as per law they have been picked up by Police for interrogation.
“Two of them have been arrested from Avis Island of Mayabunder and six of them from Diglipur region. Because of lack of water and food the first two were in very bad shape and on humanitarian ground both of them were shifted to nearby hospital.
