Port Blair, Nov 17: A fire was reported on 17th November at Hadoo around 1850 hrs at the Basement of SBI building. As soon as the matter was communicated to Fire Services, 02 Fire tenders and 13 Fire service Jawans reached the spot in no time and doused the fire very promptly. No loss of life is reported but the loss of property was estimated around Rs. 4000. Sources said that the reason behind the fire was short circuit which took place in the Junction box cable line.
