Port Blair, Nov 12: The Principal Chief Conservator of Forest, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Mr Tarun Coomar has assured to conduct a detailed inquiry on today’s Crocodile Attack occurred at Wandoor Beach.
When Andaman Sheekha questioned to the PCCF Mr Tarun Coomar today over phone, whether he will fix any responsibilities against the concerned staffs for this attack, he said that he is going to conduct a detailed inquiry.
He also said that the Dead body of the victim couldn’t be traced out today even after efforts and as search cannot be done in the night hours, tomorrow early morning the Forest Department and other agencies will start a search operation.
“Many Small Crocodiles were sighted today but the Crocodile that attacked, couldn’t. In most of the cases the Crocodile comes back to the victim and we are waiting for that,” Mr Tarun Coomar said.
It is learnt that the area where the victim has been buried inside the water by the Crocodile, has been identified by the staffs of the Forest Department.
Insiders in the Forest Department also told Andaman Sheekha that they have also received a shoot and Sight order of the Crocodile.
