Port Blair, Nov 10: In the under-9 Girls National Chess Championship held at Gurgoan, Haryana, R. Kasthuri Bhai from A&N islands has excelled her in the penultimate and final round by defeating her counter parts Anushka Aggarwal and R. Rimitha Reddy from Punjab and Telegana respectively and took birth for the prize list of fifteen.. Out of eleven games, she won 7, drew 2 and lost 2 games. The President, members & players from Andaman Nicobar chess Association has congratulated her for the excellent performances and bringing laurels to the Chess fraternity of islands.
