Port Blair, Oct 30: ‘Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Parade-2017’ comprising combined platoons of A & N Police, IRBn, Fire Service, Home Guard Volunteers, CRPF, NDRF, Police Brass Band and Ladies Pipe Band will commence from Dugong Guest House (Dharamshala) to Govt. Press on 31.10.2017 at 04:00 PM to observe the birth anniversary of Mr. Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel.Port Blair, Oct 30: ‘Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Parade-2017’ comprising combined platoons of A & N Police, IRBn, Fire Service, Home Guard Volunteers, CRPF, NDRF, Police Brass Band and Ladies Pipe Band will commence from Dugong Guest House (Dharamshala) to Govt. Press on 31.10.2017 at 04:00 PM to observe the birth anniversary of Mr. Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel. Hence, the road leading from Dharamshala to Govt. Press will be closed on 31.10.2017 from 1530 hrs to 1730 hrs. Public is requested not to use the stretch from Dharamshala to Govt. Press. The vehicles intending to proceed to G.B Pant Hospital, Aberdeen Bazaar and Marina Park may use the road leading from Sinclairs Hotel via South Point, Shadipur, Nayagoan, Gandhi Park, APWD Crossing, Model School, Clock Tower to G.B pant Hospital. Vehicle intending to proceed to Shadipur and Corbyn’s Cove may use the road from Clock Tower, Murugan Temple road. Further, all vehicle owners/users are advised to not to park their vehicles on road side of the March Past route on the intervening night of 30th October, 2017, till the completion of March Past. Public is welcome to witness the Parade to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel, information from ANP said.
