Port Blair, Oct 29: In order to disseminate updated information related to various schemes for the promotion of art and culture at National and UT level, the Department of Art & Culture, A&N Administration is conducting an ‘Orientation Programme’ for Artists and Cultural Associations on Oct 30 from 11 am to 1 pm at Andaman Club. The programme would be of immense value for the individual and groups interested in utilizing the Government’s initiatives for promotion of art and culture. Resource persons from Finance Department, IT Department and District Administration will provide valuable and updated inputs during the programme. Cultural Associations and artists, who have registered their names, have been advised to reach the venue at 10.45 am, a communication said.
