Port Blair, October 17: Now applicants won’t have to run from pillar to post, while applying for a No Objection Certificate of Fire Clearance from the Fire Brigade. As per details the Fire Brigade, Andaman Nicobar Islands is all set to introduce online portal for this purpose.
One can just access the portal and can apply for the NOC and within a time bound manner the NOC will be received to the applicant, as the status of each application will also be monitored by concerned authority.
Talking to Andaman Sheekha recently, Superintendent of Police, Fire Brigade, Mr. Deepak Yadav IPS said that some of the certificates has already been issued online but as there were minor issues, those are being rectified.
“The certificate issued online will be fully valid and the software has been developed by NIC,” Mr Deepak said.
Earlier people had to go through a very long procedure to get a No Objection Certificate of Fire Clearance from the Fire Brigade.
