Port Blair, Oct 11: Mr. I.P.Singh, Chairperson, Port Blair Municipal Council on behalf of all Councillors and staffs of the Council expressed heartfelt condolence for the sudden demise of Mr. A.K.Linga Velu, father of Mr.L.Moorthy Nominated Councillor, PBMC. Mr.A.K.Linga Velu was also the Ex-President of State BJP and was an active personality in the political and business arena. He was one of the founder members of the BJP party in these Islands. The Chairperson prayed the almighty to give strength to the family members of the deceased to bear the irreparable loss. He took his last breath at 5.30AM at his residence in Chennai.
