Port Blair, Sept 07: The Police Training School, Prothrapur, A&N Islands has organized three days course on “Schedule Caste & Schedule Tribes (amendment)Act 2015 and A & N PAT Regulation 1956(Amended section 2012)” from 29.08.2017 to 31.08.2017 for in-service Police personnel for improving the knowledge and the practical application of the act during their in-service, under the supervision of Smt. Usha Rangnani, IPS, Principal PTS. During the course Shri. S. A. Awaradi, Director, ANTRI, Shri K.Michel Raj, DANIPS, Vice Principal PTS, Shri Qammuridin, Ld. APP, Shri T.Sebastin,(Rtd.DYSP, A&NPolice) Inspr. Solomon Samual, Immigration & Foreigner Branch, as well as the faculty members of Police Training School Inspr. R.K.Sharma, Inspr. Abita Bachan, SI D.K.Seal delivered informative lecture. Altogether, 22 Police Personnel of A&N Police from different ranks participated in the course, interacted and enriched themselves for initiating steps forward towards effective implementation of the act. Shri K.Michal Raj, DANIPS, Vice Principal, PTS concluded the training programme by emphasizing on the objectives of the course and its thorough implementation. The course was coordinated by Inspr. Abita Bachan & SI D.K.Seal, PTS, Prothrapur.
