Port Blair, September 05: Two Jawans of Fire and Police Services have saved a woman, who mistakenly fell into the sea at Chatham Jetty on 03rd September, 2017.
As per reports, the lady namely Deepika is a resident of Shoal Bay, who while talking in her mobile mistakenly fell into the sea at Chatham, following which the Fire Brigade Personnel Mr. Lognathan and Police Constable Mr. Ganeshan immediately jumped into the sea to rescue her.
During the time, the SHO CCS Inspector Abdul Arif, who was also passing from the spot, also came forward to help the fire Brigade as well as the Police Jawan. The lady is presently admitted in the GB Pant Hospital and it is learnt that the lady is presently out of danger. Further details are awaited.
