Port Blair, Aug 21: Nehru Yuva Kendra, Rangat observed Sadbhavana Diwas on 20.08.2017 at Webi, Mayabunder in which 35 youths from the nearest area participated. On the occasion Smti Naw Seviah, Pradhan, Gram Panchayat, Rampur was the chief guest and she garlanded to the portrait of late former Prime Minister Shri Rajiv Gandhi. Participants as well as the resource person also paid floral tribute to late Rajiv Gandhi. After garlanding the chief guest administered Sadbhavana pledge to the participants. On the occasion Shri Shri Saw Saytha, President, Karen Welfare Organisation highlighted Rajiv Gandhi’ vision and contribution. During the programme a discussion was also held to make a plan for planting of sapling within the week. The chief guest in her speech urged youths to involve themselves in nation building activities. At the end of the programme Shri AlphonceToppo, District Youth Coordinator, Nehru Yuva Kendra Rangat mentioning the importance of day gave vote of thanks to all.
