Port Blair, August 18: The Veer Savarkar International Airport, Port Blair, developed cracks due to the heavy rain that occurred this night resulting into massive delay for the flights to Land the Airport.
As per reports, heavy rain this night was the reason behind the Cracks that developed in the runaway. However, the Airport Authorities informed the matter to the Airlines Companies following which all the flight took off from the Chennai as well as Kolkata Airport late.
This also led many passengers to wait for a long time in the Airport. As per sources, the Cracks on the runway was immediately attended by authorities and was repaired subsequently.
