Port Blair, Mr. K. Venkatesan, Assistant Professor & Head, Dept of Home Science, JNRM has participated in the two day 13th International Conference on Challenges and Initiatives of the Culture on 5th and 6th August 2017 at Jaffna, Srilanka organised by the University of Jaffna in collaboration with the International Movement of Tamil Culture, Canada. Mr. K.Venkatesan has also presented a research paper on the Socio Economic Status of Tamils in Port Blair, Andaman and Niocbar Islands.
Mr. V.S. Radha Krishnan, Minister of Education, Sri Lanka was the Chief Guest on the occasion. More than 60 researches hails from Canada, Malasia, Australia, Pondicherry University presented their papers. Dr N Franics Xavier, Principal, JNRM and faculty members congratulated Mr. K.Venkatesan for creating awareness about the multi cultural society of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands at an International forum.
