Port Blair, Aug 03: Breakless Entertainers, an Event Management and Entertainment organisation, organised a grand musical evening, “A Tribute to Kishore Kumar” on 2nd August at Dr. B R Ambedkar Auditorium (PBMC).
Music of the show was arranged by Mr. Mukesh Dedhiya, Mumbai. Shri. Anindo Mazumdar, IAS, Chief Secretary of A & N Administration was Chief Guest while Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Chairman, ANCOFED was the Guest of Honour.
The Show presented live band from Mumbai, including female playback singer, Miss Sheetal & veteran singers of these Islands Shri. Anant Ram, Shri. Nisar, Shri. Wasim, Shri Waaheed, Shri. Raj, Shri. Ashish Podder, Shri. Shailender, Shri. Shree and Shri Subhas.
The show was a great hit and proved to be a house full show. Audiences lauded performance of both local and mainland artists.
Lauding the efforts of Breakless Entertainers, Ankur, local artists and artists of Mumbai, the Chief Secretary said that Islands has great talents.
Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma sought Chief Secretary’s help to organized weekly shows by local youths to promote culture and motivate local artists.
The Show was supported by Ankur Social & Cultural Society, Port Blair. Mr. Sheikh Farooq Alam, Vice President of Ankur welcomed the guests while Mr. Subhash Chader Das presented vote of thanks.
