Port Blair, Jul 18L A depression formed over northwest and adjoining westcentral Bay of Bengal & coastal areas of Odisha & north Andhra Pradesh which lay centered at 1130 hrs IST of today, the 18th July, 2017 and likely to move west-northwestwards and cross Odisha coast on 18th July, 2017. Under the influence of strong southwest monsoon sea condition be rough to very rough along and off Andaman & Nicobar coasts.
Under the influence of moderate to strong Southwest Monsoon current, strong southwesterly wind speed between 35 and 45 kmph gusting to 55 kmph and rough to very rough seas likely along and off Andaman & Nicobar coast. Fishermen are advised not to venture into the sea.
