Havelock, July 17: The Havelock Police has arrested one fisherman on 13/07/2017 with 76 bottles of Indian made foreign liquor.
As per reports, Nihar Biswas S/o late Ranjeet Bisham, 36 years and a resident of Govind Nagar was found with 76 bottles of IMFL when a team of Havelock Police Unit on a tip off conducted a raid at his home.
This is not the first time that the Havelock Police Unit has seized such a large amount of liquor. Earlier in the recent past also the unit was successful to seize huge quantity of liquor and has kept a good vigil in the entire Havelock Island to make the island free from antisocial elements.
This raid was conducted under the overall supervision of SHO Havelock Police Unit, Sub-Inspector K Illangovan.
