Port Blair, July 16: On 15th July 2017 Shri. B. Eswar Rao, Chairperson Port Blair Municipal Council alongwith Shri.N.K. Udhya Kumar, Senior Vice Chairperson and Shri. Dharmendra Narayan, Junior Vice Chairperson, PBMC inspected Ward No-22. The Ward Councillor Smti. Vaishali Rani Dayal , Executive Engineer Shri. Avinash Kumar Singh and officials of the Council were present during the inspection. The team inspected Brookshabad area, Jooda Nallah area wherein the Chairperson proposed for the construction of a check dam which will solve the problem of drinking water in the area. Further the team visited the Brijgunj School and directed the officials concerned to carry out the ongoing works within the stipulated time frame.
The team then visited Ward No-16 the Ward Councillior Smti.S.Usha and Shri.S.Ganeshan Executive Engineer (Plg) briefed the Chairperson about various ongoing works in the Ward. The Chairperson inspected the ongoing road works. The Chairperson directed the officials concerned to carry out the developmental works in the newly extended area of the Municipal Limit at par with the old wards and assured every possible help from his office to sort out the problems.
