Port Blair, Jul 10: Shri. Vishal Jolly, State President, BJP A&N Islands have expressed his gratitude to the Lt. Governor, A&N Islands for taking initiatives on developing Tuna fisheries in A&N Islands.
He also extended thanks for encouraging the emerging fisheries entrepreneurs, MV Bharat Seema a 100 Ton Cargo Capacity Vessel and 6 new flights service was induced, Single Window System launched for various clearances for establishing industries/ Business Units, Fish Landing Centre was started at Uttara (Middle Andaman), foundation stone laid for construction of 05 MT Ice Plant at Panighat, Charted MV Coral Queen a 100 ton Cargo Capacity Vessel inducted under the guidance of Lt. Governor and A&N Administration is involved on preparing a comprehensive fisheries policy for livelihood development in fishery sector, to develop fishery industrial parks and facilitate tuna fisheries development in these islands.
