Port Blair, July 09: As a part of 68th Van Mahotsav-2017, a mass tree plantation drive was organized by the Police Training School, Prothrapur, A&N Police in the training campus on 07.07.2017. Smti. Nuzhat Hassan, IPS, Director General of Police, A&N Islands inaugurated the event today (07.07.2017) at 1000 hrs by planting a flower bearing plant. Smt. Geeta Rani Verma, IPS, Principal, PTS, Shri Parvinder Singh, IPS, Superintendent of Police (HQ), Shri Kishore Kumar, Vice Principal, PTS, faculties of Indoor & Outdoor and staff & trainees actively participated in the event and planted different species of saplings with an aspiration to secure the natural resources and promote green & safe environment on the Earth.
