Port Blair, June 01: The Port Blair Municipal Council bid farewell to four employees of the Council, who superannuated from government service on 31-05-2017.
At a simple function held in the chamber of the Chairperson, PBMC cheques of all retirement benefits including GPF, gratuity and other monetary benefits were handed over to Shri T. Venkat Swamay, WCM, Shri V. Balu, WCM, both attached to JE-V(works), Shri Sulaiman Tirkey, WCM attached JE-III(Maint) and Shri S. Panchavaranam, Head Clerk, Estt. Section. Councilors, Secretary and senior officers of the Council were present on the occasion.
In his address Shri. B.Eswar Rao, Chairperson, PBMC recalled the valuable services rendered to the Council by the four employees and wished them a happy and healthy post retired life. Mementoes were also presented to them on the occasion.
