Port Blair, June 18: Dozens of people today Gheraoed a truck of Priya Indane in Dollygunj area protesting against improper supply of LPG cylinders to the general public.
Angry residents alleged that the Consumer Cooperative Society (CCS) is directly forcing them to switch over to Priya Indane.
“This is what we don’t want because earlier arrangement was easy and simple for us, we don’t want to waste our precious time and go stand in a line to make a new card,” Mr Dharmendra a resident of Dollygunj told Andaman Sheekha.
Resident alleged that the CCS, for reason unknown, is pressurizing them to make a new card from Priya Indane, knowing fully well that the resident of the area are against this move.
priya indane they never do the door delivery at dairy farm I don’t know about other places they park the vehicle far away and people will have to hire auto or ladies carry on their own to the house, Indian oil corpn should not pay the service charge in advance instead they should collect it during door delivery only, some vigilance team should be posted and entire distributing should be vidoegraphed. instead of taking Rs 422/- per cylinder they take Rs 430/- local media had highlighted the issue but no improvement in the system, or they should hand over to CCS, which does a good job or the consumers should have a choice to chose CCS.dfsdf
