Port Blair, May 30: The results of All India Sr. School Certificate Examination 2016-17 have been announced on 28th May 2017.
Though the official intimation is still awaited from CBSE, as per the results downloaded from the website of CBSE, out of 4458 students who appeared in Class XII from Govt. Schools/Govt. Aided & Un-Aided schools in A & N Islands-3503 students have passed and 729 students have been placed in Compartmental category. The overall pass percentage of A & N Islands stands at 78.58% as compared to 71.59% during 2015-16 which is an increase of 6.98%.
Five (5) toppers each from Science, Commerce, Arts and Vocational Streams of these Islands are as under:
