Port Blair, May 19: The Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) 2017 (JEE Advanced 2017) will be held in Tagore Government College of Education, Port Blair on 21/05/2017 (Sunday) in two sessions i.e. from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
All the eligible candidates are advised to reach the examination centre by 07:45 a.m. for Paper 1 and by 12:45 p.m. for Paper 2 on 21/05/2017 for Aadhaar based biometric registration and data verification, respectively.
No candidate shall be allowed to enter the examination centre after the start of the examination also no candidate shall be allowed to leave the examination hall before the scheduled end of the examination and without handing over the optical response sheet (ORS) to the invigilator. Every candidate will bring downloaded admit card with signature of the Chairman JEE (Advanced) 2017 bearing signature, photograph and centre details with original photo identity card such as Aadhaar card, School/College ID, Driving license, Passport and PAN card.
Candidates are strictly advised not to bring any mobile phone, iPad, wallet, electronic watch, calculator or any other electronic gadgets or any other books, notes, written materials, cardboards etc. to the examination hall. If such items are found at any later point of time, the candidate will be DISQUALIFIED.
Only black ball point pen is allowed to darken the bubbles in the ORS. Adaptation of unfair means, impersonation and misconduct during the examination will lead to disqualification of the candidature. Both Papers (Paper 1 and Paper 2) of the examination are compulsory.
