Port Blair, Apr 24: It is to bring to the notice of owners/agents of Sports Fishing vessels registered with the Fisheries Department that issuance of online permit for undertaking Sport Fishing activity with Foreign National shall be closed from 30th of April, 2017 untill further orders. Similarly, no Indian guest should be entertained by the Sport Fishing boat operators/Agents for sport fishing activity beyond 30th April, 2017.
All the owners/agents of sport fishing vessels are advised to strictly follow the instructions and also not to engage or permit their vessels for sport fishing or any other activity failing which action will be taken as per rules. This issued with the approval of the competent authority.
