Port Blair, Apr 17: The Andaman & Nicobar State Cooperative Bank has started issuing the PoS machines at various merchant points. A total of 17 nos. PoS machines have been installed so far. Another 10 nos. PoS machines are under the installation process and shall be installed very shortly.
All the merchants of Andaman & Nicobar Islands who are maintaining account(s) with Cooperative Bank are requested to contact their bank branches and get themselves enrolled for PoS machines to promote cashless transactions.
