Port Blair, Apr 11: On the occasion of 126th Birth Anniversary of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, a solemn function will be organized by the A&N Administration at 9.30 am at the statue of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar near the main entrance of Ambedkar Auditorium on April 14, 2017 to pay floral tributes to Dr. B. R. Ambedkar.
The Lt. Governor, A&N Islands, Prof. Jagdish Mukhi will lead the Islanders in paying floral tributes to Dr. B. R. Ambedkar and address the gathering on the occasion. The Member of Parliament, Shri Bishnu Pada Ray and the Chief Secretary, A&N Administration, Shri Anindo Majumdar will also attend the programme. All the general public have been requested to join the Administration in paying tributes to Dr. B. R. Ambedkar.
