Port Blair, March 24: A 55 year old woman namely Geeta Devi, a resident of Tushnabad consumed poison this morning at around 06:10am. The woman was immediately rushed to the GB Pant Hospital but even though after all possible medical care, she died at around 01:00 pm.
The reason behind the woman taking this extreme step is not yet known. A case of Unnatural Death has been registered in the Ograbraj Police Station.
