Port Blair, Mar 01: A partially decomposed dead body of a man was found in the Carrier of a Venkateshwara Truck this afternoon at Industrial Estate Dollygunj.
As per reports, the dead body was found near the Vijaylakshmi Body Building shop, inside a Truck bearing registration number AN01E9661.
Eyewitnesses of the area told Andaman Sheekha that there were many blood spots on the face as well as Cloths of the victim and it looks like someone has murdered him.
However, reliable sources in Police told Andaman Sheekha this might not be a murder. Police suspects that the man under heavy influence of alcohol might have slept on the carrier of the Truck, three days back which might be reason behind the death. But police is investigating in all possible angles.
It is learnt that the post mortem of the dead body will be conducted tomorrow which might bright out the actual cause of death, it seems. The Dead body has not been identified yet, it is learnt. The Tylerabad Police Unit has registered an UDFIR in this case and further details are awaited.
