Port Blair, Feb 26: A delegation of the Non-Gazetted Govt. Officers’ Association, Andaman & Nicobar Islands led by its General Secretary, T.S.Sreekumar met Smti Shipra Paul, Director of Health Services, A & N Administration on 24.02.2017 and held discussion on various pending issues of employees of Health Department including filling up of the vacant posts, timely promotion of ANMs to the post of LHV, Amendment of Recruitment Rules of all categories of employees, timely award of MACP and Uniform transfer policy.
The delegation also invited the attention of Director to the issue of delay in award of MACP and other service benefits due to delay in submission of Annual Performance Assessment Report(APAR) from outstations and requested her to ensure steps for timely submission of APAR from outstations.
The Director of Health Services intimated the delegation about various steps initiated by her for the settlement of issues raised by the Association.
The delegation also included Mr. R.Rajendran, Assistant General Secretary, Mr. R.K. Nag, Organising Secretary, Smti Maimuna Begum, Vice President, Smti Reba Rani Sarkar, Secretary, Smti Maimuna Bibi, Treasurer, Smti Suchitra Kumari, Joint Secretary and Smti A.S. Pushpa, Orgnaising Secretary of Health Department Sub-Committee of the Association.
