Diglipur, Feb 21: A section of Bhartiya Janta Party’s, Diglipur unit today organized a Dharna in front of Administrative building of from 10AM to 1PM.
Prominent party members raised slogans against the Lt. Governor, Member of Parliament, Deputy Commissioner N & M Andaman & Asst Commissioner Diglipur for implementation of Zarda Ban and removal of encroachments.
The party workers not only shouted slogan against the DC and AC of North & Middle Andaman but also against the Lt. Governor and the Member of Parliament.
The great divide in Bharatiya Janta Party’s A & N Unit has become clear again in Diglipur Island.
Many BJP workers accused that members of the other BJP camp is trying to stop this Dharna.
A memorandum of demands was later submitted to the Asst Commissioner of Diglipur at the end of the Dharna.
