Port Blair, Feb 02: As part of 41st Coast Guard Raising Day celebrations, a visit for Specially Abled children was conducted in coordination with Coast Guard Wives Welfare Association onboard Indian Coast Guard Ship Vishwast on 31 Jan 2017 at CG Jetty, Port Blair. The event was conducted in association with Directorate of Education & Directorate of Social Welfare, Port Blair and 40 children with teachers from schools of Port Blair visited the ship. The children had walk around on the ship and interacted with CG personnel. The children were enthused with ship environment and queried about equipments onboard. Games were conducted for the children and gifts presented to all visitors. A movie was also screened for the children showcasing the Indian Coast Guard activities. Mrs. Radha Murugan, Vice President CGWWA, (A & N) Region and other committee members of CGWWA were also present during the visit.
