Diglipur, Nov 29: A Zonal Level Science, Mathematics & Environment Exhibition 2016 organized by the Deputy Education officer Diglipur, started today morning at GSSS Subhash gram.
The Chief Guest Deputy Commandant, Coast Guard DHQ -09 Mr. Ravi Kumar inaugurated this Exhibition. Addressing the staff and students Mr. Ravi Kumar appreciated the children for their hard work and encouraged them. He also blessed them for active participation in such exhibition in future.
He also appreciated the teachers who encouraged, helped and guided the children for making such exhibits.
Earlier Mr Sashi Kumar, Deputy Education Officer, Diglipur welcomed the Chief Guest and other dignitaries present in the function and appreciated the students for showing their talent.
He also expressed his gratitude to each individual involved in organizing the event and he appealed all students to intensively get involved in studies to excel in life.
Altogether 21 schools at Diglipur zone take part in the exhibition and about 200 exhibits were displayed in this exhibition. The selected exhibits will be displayed in the state level science exhibition which will be held at Port Blair next year.
