Port Blair, Nov 28: The Coast Guard Wives Welfare Association, Hut Bay, in association with NGO, Butterfly organised a Medical camp at RK Pur Little Andaman on 25 Nov 2016. A humanitarian initiative in keeping with the traditions of social responsibility to the local population, the camp witnessed an enthusiastic response. The Station Medical officer, Coast Guard Station Hutbay conducted the medical checkup of 75 registered patients and prescribed medicines and nutritional supplements. Volunteers from local community and NGO Butterfly wholeheartedly participated in management of the camp and distribution of medicine. A communique received from PRO Coast Guard.
