Car Nicobar, Nov 25: A major accident took place this evening at Kinyuka village of Car Nicobar resulting in death of a Nicobari Tribal man.
The accident took place at 06:00 pm, it is learnt.
As per sources, the truck driver lost control over his truck after applying sudden brakes, after he reportedly noticed a dog infront of his truck.
The impact of sudden brake was so powerful that the truck went off the road and hit the Nicobari man, Leo Richardson, aged 38 years, who was reportedly having Pani Puri, standing near a shop.
Two more people suffered minor injuries in the accident, it is learnt.
Sources said that the truck also damaged a shop situated far from the road. Meanwhile a case has been registered in this regard at PS Car Nicobar and further investigations are on.
