Port Blair, Nov 16: Mr. M.Vinod, President, AATO met Dr /Mahesh Sharma, Minister of Tourism, Art & Culture at his office in New Delhi and discussed various pending matters related to tourism industry.
The Minister reportedly gave a patient hearing and has assured to look into the matter at priority. The two most important issues discussed was about introduction of E Visa and allowing all Govt servants availing LTC for Andaman to travel by any airlines at par with Jammu & Kashmir and North east regions instead of the present practice of flying only in Air India and he also requested to allow tourists to travel in private boats for Neil and Havelock as we have immense shortage of Government boats.
