Port Blair, Nov 4: The Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman, Mr Udit Prakash Rai who is also the Secretary-cum-Director RD, PRIs & ULB, visited Gram Panchayat Mannarghat on Friday. Along with the Pradhan of the area, Mr O Bashir inspected the landslide hit area at Tsunami Shelter, Manna Nagar, Mannarghat – 5 recently. He took note of the condition of the shelters constructed and handed over to the beneficiaries after tsunami by an NGO. The Pradhan has expressed gratitude to the Deputy Commissioner for the visit.
