Port Blair, Oct 17: The Non-Gazetted Government Officers’ Association, Andaman and Nicobar Islands has condoled the demise of Mr Jagadish Mazumder, GTT attached to GSSS R.K.Pur. He was 54 and passed away on Sunday at GB Pant Hospital. He has left behind his wife Smt Rekha Rani Mazumder (PST) and two children.
The Non-Gazetted Government Officers’ Association has also condoled the sudden demise of Mr S.K. Wazid, former leader of APWD workshop employees union and Vice-Chairman, A&N Govt. Employees & Workers Federation who died last Saturday at GB Pant Hospital here. He was a militant leader of Workers and worked alongwith the legendry leader Com. P.K. S Prasad in many struggles. He was 80 years old. He is survived by his wife, 6 daughters and two sons. In a release, the association has deeply condoled the deaths and prayed for eternal peace for the departed souls.
