Port Blair, Oct 16: Team Chowra Island has defeated the Dollygunj Football team by 3-0 and won the three day knockout ‘Netaji Football Tournament’ organized by the youths of Beodnabad.
All together 14 teams participated in the tournament. The Chief Guest during the final match was Mr Saroj Kr. Sinha, National Observer, SVS, New Delhi and the Guest of honour was Mr R Parmasivam, Up- Pradhan Gram Panchayat, Beodnabad.
The organizer of the tournament Mr Laxman Kumar and all members of the tournament have thanked the Principal and all the staffs of GSSS Rangachang, Tylerabad Police and Junior Engineer, APWD, Water section Beodnabad for their support in organizing the tournament.
