Port Blair, Oct 12: As part of the celebration of 1st Anniversary, since Shri O. Bashir Oath taken of the Office of the Pradhan, Gram Panchayat Mannarghat, the Pradhan & Gram Panchayat Members organized a musical & cultural programme at Community Hall, Malapuram on 08/10/2016 evening.
Shri Udit Prakash Rai (IAS) along with his family members, Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman District/Secretary cum Director of RD, PRIs & ULB, A & N admin was present as the chief Guest on the occasion and a large number general public witnessed and enjoyed the mesmerizing performance.
Addressing the gathering the chief guest expressed his satisfaction on overall developments in last one year at Gram Panchayat Mannarghat and also expressed happiness over organizing such programmes for encouraging local pupils to demostrate their talents through cultural activities.
Earlier, the Pradhan Shri O. Bashir expressed his gratitude while welcoming the gathering especially to Chief Guest and his family members. The programme concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by the Pradhan at 2200 Hours.
