Port Blair, May 29: The A&N Islands Khadi & Village Industries Board will be organizing awareness campaign-cum-peoples education programme on Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme of KVIC (PMEGP scheme) and other govt. sponsored self employment schemes in association with Industries, AH&VS, Agriculture, Fisheries, NYKS, Banks & PRI’s at Gram Panchayat, Garacharma-II on May 30, 2012 at 1000 hrs.
The main objective is to disseminate information to the participants about the role of A&NI KVIB and other govt. department like Directorate of Industries, Agriculture, Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services, NYKS and other like minded agencies towards rural industrialization through setting up of micro-enterprises/ individual
units/ self employment venture duly availed finance under PMEGP and other govt. sponsored schemes.
The awareness programme will be followed by extension of consultancy services to the rural entrepreneurs such as preparation of project profile, execution of affidavit, documentation, filling up of loan applications and other consultancy services under PMEGP scheme by the Rural ICS Cell of the A&NI KVIB on the spot.
