Port Blair, Sept 13: The Institution of Engineers (India), A & N State Centre will celebrate the 49th Engineers’ Day on Sept 15, 2016 in the multipurpose hall of ALHW, Phoenix Bay here. The Commissioner-cum-Secretary, PWD, Shipping, Power and CA, Mr Sanjeev Khirwar was be the chief guest on the occasion. He will also confer the Best Engineer 2016 awards during the function. A technical session on the theme ‘Skill Development for Young Engineers to Reform the Core Section: Vision 2025’ will also be conducted. A cultural programme will also be in the evening from 6 pm at the same venue.
