Port Blair, May 28: The Socio – Cultural organization, Chetna today hosted a Poetic Symposium at Port Blair. The Symposium was held at Tagore Govt. College of Education at Port Blair this evening.
A noted Poet and the Station Director of All India Radio, New Delhi Lakshmi Shankar Vajpayee and renowned Ghazal Writer Mamata
Kiran presented their poems. They will also be honoured at the programme.
The Secretary of Port Blair Municipal Council (PBMC), Rakesh Bali inaugurated the Programme, while the Principal of Tagore Govt. College of Education, Dr Jayadev Singh presided over. Former President of Andaman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) and the Ministry of Home Affairs’ Advisory Council Member, H N Arora was the Guest of honour. A selected group of noted local poets also recited their poems in the programme.
