Port Blair, Aug 31: Under the influence of strong Southwest monsoon current, strong Southwesterly wind speed between 35 and 45 kmph gusting to 55 kmph and generally rough to very seas are likely along and off Andaman and Nicobar coast. Fishermen have been advised not to venture into the sea. Local Cautionary Signal No-III hoisted at Port Blair Port. The general public have been advised to take precautionary measures and contact the State Control Room, District Control Room and Emergency Operation Centres in case of any emergency.
