Port Blair, May 27: The Socio – Cultural organization, Chetana will be hosting a Poetic Symposium at Port Blair tomorrow. The Symposium will be held at Tagore Govt. College of Education at Port Blair on Monday evening.
A noted Poet and the Station Director of All India Radio, New Delhi Lakshmi Shankar Vajpayee and renowned Ghazal Writer Mamata Kiran will present their poems. They will also be honoured at the programme.
The Secretary of Port Blair Municipal Council (PBMC), Rakesh Bali will inaugurate the Programme, while the Principal of Tagore Govt. College of Education, Dr Jayadev Singh will preside over. Former President of Andaman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) and the Ministry of Home Affairs’ Advisory Council Member, H N Arora will be the Guest of honour. A selected group of noted local poets also recite their poems in the programme.
